Sentry Mazda seeks to add two automotive technicians to its Mazda service department on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, MA. We are looking for one experienced technician and one entry-level technician who is looking to build a career.

If you are working at an independent shop or are a recent trade school graduate, this is your chance to get into a stable, family-owned dealership with a long term opportunity. We will pay you while you train. We also will consider candidates from other dealerships who would like to make the switch to more established brands from another dealer.

Skills:

  • Mechanical & Electrical Systems Knowledge
    Strong understanding of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.

  • ASE Certification (Preferred)
    Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications in relevant areas such as brakes, engine repair, and electrical systems.

  • Technical Problem Solving
    Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and accurately.

  • Customer-Focused Communication
    Capable of explaining technical issues and repair options clearly to service advisors and customers.

  • Attention to Detail
    Thorough in inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure high-quality service and safety. Complete warranty repairs to Mazda specifications and requirements.

  • Team Collaboration
    Works well with service advisors, parts department, and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Time Management
    Efficiently manages repair timelines to meet dealership productivity goals.

  • Continuous Learning
    Willingness to stay updated with Mazda training programs and evolving automotive technologies.

  • Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record

Compensation: $50,000 - $100,000+ per year depending on expertise and productivity
