Job DescriptionMachine Operator

A contract manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire position in the local area. This company is known for its commitment to quality and safety in manufacturing, ensuring that all products meet high standards.

Shift/Pay of the Machine Operator:
1st Shift - $17.50/hr
2nd Shift - $18.11/hr
3rd Shift - $19.25/hr

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Trim or clip product as needed
• Package, weigh, and label finished product
• Perform visual inspections on all parts produced
• Use gauge pins to measure parts for compliance with specifications
• Keep workstation clean, neat, and organized
• Report quality issues to Shift Supervisor
• Train Machine Attendants on the next shift as needed

Qualifications of the Machine Operator:

• Entry-level; training provided
• Ability to read and understand documentation (Work Orders, Operator Responsibility Sheets)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude with initiative
• Basic measuring experience
