A dynamic opportunity is available for a registered nurse with med-surg telemetry expertise to contribute to quality patient care within a supportive, team-oriented environment at a respected healthcare institution in Barre, VT. This contract position offers the chance to apply your clinical knowledge in an engaging hospital setting providing care for diverse adult populations, including telemetry patients and post-operative cases in orthopedics, urology, and GI.

Qualifications & Experience
- Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of med-surg telemetry nursing experience, including rhythm interpretation and tele certification
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and Telemetry certifications required
- Competency in peripheral IV placement is a plus
- Prior experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records and medication systems such as Pyxis beneficial
Schedule & Responsibilities
- 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling options and the possibility to pick up extra 8-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday work required; no call responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with conditions including COPD, CHF, diabetes, dementia, and end-of-life care
- Perform telemetry monitoring, NG tube and peripheral IV insertions, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including CNA/PCT, advanced practice providers, and unit secretaries
