GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room Manager for a travel nursing job in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

- Looking for 2 years experience as a Nurse Manager
- EMR: Meditech
- Duties of Manager: Ensure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services Evaluate and assess the daily schedule and staffing plan and to make adjustments to clinical assignments if necessary to enhance the overall performance of the department and functioning of the unit.
- Evaluate and respond to changes in the daily schedule in real-time including add-on cases, late running cases, resource allocation, and other situations as they present
- Must be strong in Ortho trauma Total joints (Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Reverse Shoulders)
- What Scope system do they use? Vascular (Fem Pop, AAA, AV fistula, Thrombectomies....) GYN- Hysteroscopy, ABD/Vaginal/Lap assisted Hysterectomy, Cystectomy General-Lap find out if the candidate is comfortable running the camera. Colorectal hemicolectomy, Hepatic resections? ENT (if no eyes its ok to still approve) Peds t&a and tubes Urology; Prostatectomy lap vs open, TURP, Stents, Cystos Bariatrics Spine (neuro and ortho)
- Do they do Ant/Post spines if so which table?
- No cranies, yes burr hole, subdural hematoma, ..... ). Trauma (No burns, yes gunshot, stabbing, multibone trauma)
No CV Facility starting Thoracic but none on call so ok to approve if weak in thoracic experience, please clarify in your notes
Start 10/28 or 11/10\nShift 10HR Days 10a-8p \n\nCall Specifics\nCall starts at 11-7am on weekdays and on weekends it could be 7a-7p or 7p-7a, both Sat and Sun. \n1 night call every 8-9 shifts and 1 weekend in a 13week contract.\n30 minute response time, on call room available\n\n$1,000 completion bonus after successfully completing 13 week contract and 2 or less callouts.\n\n
