Job Description:
- Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

- Schedule: 5*8 (40 hours)
- Pay Range: $58–62/hour DOE
Overview:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Ultrasound Technologist to join a high-performing imaging department at a large acute care facility. The role requires adaptability to work primarily 2nd shift with occasional coverage for 3rd shift, including weekend rotations and holidays as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced clinical environment delivering top-tier diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders
- Ensure high-quality imaging and proper patient positioning
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists for coordinated patient care
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures
- Document procedures and update records accurately in the electronic charting system
Qualifications:
- ARDMS certification (or equivalent) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital-based ultrasound setting
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Proficiency in Epic charting preferred
