Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver essential nursing care in a dynamic 29-bed Med Surg unit located in Derry, NH, offering a supportive environment with a 6:1 patient ratio and access to LNA support. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with acute care experience and proficiency in dysrhythmia management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care adhering to safety rounding and bedside care conference protocols.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills with equipment such as PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry.
- Document patient information accurately using the Meditech Expanse system.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team while adhering to unit policies and standards.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
- Maintain required certifications including BLS and ACLS.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license and at least one year of acute care nursing experience.
- Proficient in dysrhythmia recognition and management.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Comfortable working without a unit secretary but with LNA support.
- Professional appearance with clean, unrestricted scrubs.
Schedule:
- Every other weekend required.
