Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Massachusetts requiring strong critical care skills and a current MA RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a 20-bed ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 1:2
- Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- No on-call requirements
- Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color
- Primary use of Meditech Expanse EMR
- Responsible for independent patient care utilizing critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to maintain emotional stability in emergency settings is essential
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment will be accepted
- Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Non-local travelers only; applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- 8-hour orientation provided
- Must include permanent address with application

- Active MA RN license in hand at time of application
- Minimum of 2 years current ICU experience required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required
- IV skills required
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- TNCC, PEARS, and PALS certifications preferred
- Skills checklist and one recent supervisory reference required
- Must have own vehicle
