Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Springfield, MA, serving a high school setting for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role provides the opportunity to work onsite with a diverse caseload of adolescent students requiring speech and language support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings, especially high schools, is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to student success plans
Location and Schedule:
- Position based onsite in Springfield, MA
- Full-time hours per week throughout the school year
