Licensed Site Professional (LSP)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Site Professional to lead and manage environmental site assessments and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a thorough understanding of environmental regulations and standards. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance and promoting sustainable practices within our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site assessments and prepare reports documenting findings.
- Develop and implement remediation plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project staff.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate project status and environmental concerns to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and facilitate discussions on project impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification preferred not required.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, risk management, and stakeholder management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and implement process improvements.
