Job Opportunity – Emergency Department House Supervisor – Vermont

Start Date: February 17, 2026
Location: Windsor, Vermont
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday availability as needed

Highlights:

• Dual-role position combining Emergency Department nursing with House Supervisory responsibilities
• 10-bed Emergency Department with manageable patient volume of 8-15 patients per 24-hour period
• Short wait times with almost all patients seen within 30 minutes or less
• Cerner EMR system in a Critical Access facility environment
• Collaborative team including Physician Assistants
• 8-hour non-billable orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Vermont RN License or Compact State License
• Minimum 5 years recent inpatient nursing experience
• Current supervisory experience within the past 6 months (required)
• Critical Access facility experience required
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
• Must possess reliable personal vehicle (required for rural location)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
