Position: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Hooksett, NH
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) – ONLY
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $33.00+/hour
Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations; or
-
Technical Certificate from an accredited institution with at least 18 months of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations; or
-
Associate degree in a technically related field from an accredited institution with at least 1 year of experience in advanced machine tool and equipment manufacturing operations.
Desirable Qualifications:
-
Expertise in setting up and operating both conventional and CNC precision manufacturing machines and equipment.

Hands-on experience with NC machine offsets and making fundamental NC program modifications.

Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical drawings.

Strong aptitude for mathematical calculations involving decimals, ratios, and percentages.

Familiarity with precision measurement tools, including micrometers, dial calipers, and height gages.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts.

Ability to maintain consistent punctuality, follow safety procedures, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a variety of conventional and CNC precision machines and equipment, including lathes, millers, grinders, electro-chemical machines, and coordinate measuring machines.

Perform machine control offsets and make basic NC program adjustments to meet close tolerance requirements.

Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and interpret mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings.

Perform intermediate-level mathematical calculations to ensure quality and precision.

Provide training to fellow operators as needed.

Support manufacturing efforts by contributing to environmental health and safety initiatives, quality control, maintenance, continuous improvement, and production flow.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including reports and records of daily tasks.
