Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced cardiology setting. The role involves cleaning and prepping exam rooms, taking vitals, and patient charting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare exam rooms for patient visits.
- Take and record patient vitals accurately.
- Manage and update patient charts using electronic health records.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in medical assisting.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program/school preferred.
- Certification through AAMA, NHA, or AMT preferred, with completion required within six months of permanent employment.
Work Environment
Work within a cardiology department, Monday through Friday with hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Some providers may work four 10-hour days.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.77 - $23.00/hr.
