The ideal candidate will have strong contract administration experience, a solid understanding of procurement and legal terminology, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and redline procurement contracts, NDAs, SOWs, and order forms under the guidance of attorneys, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards.

  • Manage and maintain the firms contract management system, including tracking renewals, expirations, and deliverables.

  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on contracts to identify potential issues or discrepancies.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Procurement Operations teams to facilitate contract execution and ensure seamless implementation.

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract processes, templates, and policy questions.

  • Coordinate with the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team to monitor compliance with contractual obligations, escalating potential risks or breaches for attorney review.

  • Prepare and maintain contract summaries, reports, and dashboards for leadership visibility.

  • Assist in developing, updating, and standardizing contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

  • Maintain proper document storage and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.

  • Support the shared services inbox for contract requests and inquiries, ensuring timely response and resolution.

Proficiencies

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience redlining contracts and NDAs and adhering to legal playbooks.

  • Proficiency with contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across attorneys, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification a plus).

  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration, ideally within a procurement or professional services environment.

  • Experience negotiating and coordinating directly with suppliers and vendors.

  • Familiarity with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, or similar).

  • Experience working with international contracts or global procurement teams preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
