Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized occupational therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program for K-12 students in a public school setting. This contract opportunity is based in Winchester, MA, and focuses on supporting student growth and development throughout the ESY duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to students educational and developmental needs during ESY.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy strategies.
- Assist students in improving communication and motor skills to enhance classroom participation and daily functioning.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school-based therapy regulations and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Eligibility for Massachusetts Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Strong commitment to working within a school environment.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals.
- Passion for fostering student communication and functional skills development.
