Are you passionate about walking alongside young people and helping them discover hope, strength, and connection? Waypoint’s Runaway and Homeless Youth and Voluntary Service's Programs in Manchester, NH, are looking for a Therapeutic Youth Mentor to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth ages 13–21 who are at risk of homelessness.

This unique one-year, grant-funded opportunity through the Prevention Demonstration Project focuses on building trusting relationships, supporting youth in mapping out their natural supports, and encouraging positive growth in all areas of their lives. The work happens where youth feel most comfortable—whether at home, school, or in the community.

As a Therapeutic Youth Mentor, you’ll help young people recognize their protective factors, strengthen their resilience, and take steps toward stability and independence. Your compassion, guidance, and encouragement could be the turning point in their journey.

What we’re looking for:
✔ High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
✔ 2+ years of related human services experience (lived experience valued!)
✔ Understanding of youth at-risk, homelessness, or behavioral health needs a plus
✔ Successful background check with no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation
✔ Valid driver’s license & proof of auto insurance ($50,000/$100,000 coverage minimum)
