Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a Physical Therapist to provide specialized in-home services for K-12 students in Andover, MA. This contract position supports student growth and mobility by delivering targeted therapy sessions two times per week, each lasting 60 minutes.
Location:
- In-home services delivered within Andover, MA
- Work supports school-aged children from kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized physical therapy sessions twice weekly in students' homes
- Collaborate with school personnel and families to ensure continuity of care
- Assess students physical capabilities and design appropriate exercise programs
- Document progress and communicate effectively with educational and medical teams
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional standards and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy
- Ability to work independently in a home setting and adapt sessions based on individual student needs
- Strong communication skills to work with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Andover, MA
