A K-12 educational institution in Brockton, MA is seeking a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students communication development throughout the academic school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting.
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Massachusetts School Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy services, preferably within K-12 settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and with attention to individualized student needs.
