We are seeking a Senior Digital Transformation Engineer for a manufacturing company in Ayer, MA. This role leads strategic initiatives that align technology with business goals, driving the transition to modern digital systems and scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, automation, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level digital projects including ERP, order management, fulfillment, eCommerce, and platform integrations
  • Develop, mentor, and guide software developers and digital transformation engineers
  • Serve as an internal consultant to identify process gaps and implement scalable, automated digital solutions
  • Manage external vendors and offshore development teams; ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
  • Write and maintain Python scripts (Pandas, NumPy) to automate data workflows, API integrations, and reporting
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to build data reports, reconcile inventory, and optimize analytics
  • Evaluate technology vendors (ERP, MES, CMMS, B2B/B2C, analytics, personalization, etc.) and make recommendations
  • Build business cases with ROI analysis to support digital investment decisions
  • Oversee multiple company websites, domains, and analytics tools while ensuring GDPR/CCPA compliance
  • Collaborate with IT and Help Desk partners to document infrastructure and ensure business continuity

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office in Ayer, MA.
