Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication goals
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide professional insights
• Educate and engage families regarding speech and language development and strategies to support their children
