Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team at a leading orthopedic practice where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray examinations, maintaining imaging equipment, and managing x-ray files, while providing compassionate care to our patients in a busy orthopaedic practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic x-rays, including positioning patients, controlling exposure, shielding, and conducting quality assurance on images.

Process and log completed procedures.

Maintain x-ray files, including filing, tracking outgoing films, and retrieving outside films as needed.

Clean and perform minor adjustments to x-ray equipment; report malfunctions to the X-ray Supervisor and coordinate service calls as necessary.

Clean cassettes and screens daily to ensure optimal image quality.

Provide coverage for scheduled hours, with flexibility to work additional shifts or at satellite locations as needed.

Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.

Engage in professional development through continuing education, workshops, and conferences.

Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

2 years of radiology experience preferred; orthopaedic experience strongly preferred.

Proficiency in medical terminology; computer and word processing skills required.

Must hold a valid State License/Temporary License and ARRT certification.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
