Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team at a leading orthopedic practice where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic x-ray examinations, maintaining imaging equipment, and managing x-ray files, while providing compassionate care to our patients in a busy orthopaedic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic x-rays, including positioning patients, controlling exposure, shielding, and conducting quality assurance on images.

  • Process and log completed procedures.

  • Maintain x-ray files, including filing, tracking outgoing films, and retrieving outside films as needed.

  • Clean and perform minor adjustments to x-ray equipment; report malfunctions to the X-ray Supervisor and coordinate service calls as necessary.

  • Clean cassettes and screens daily to ensure optimal image quality.

  • Provide coverage for scheduled hours, with flexibility to work additional shifts or at satellite locations as needed.

  • Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.

  • Engage in professional development through continuing education, workshops, and conferences.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • 2 years of radiology experience preferred; orthopaedic experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in medical terminology; computer and word processing skills required.

  • Must hold a valid State License/Temporary License and ARRT certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.

  • Capable of handling a fast-paced medical environment.
