We are looking for a part-time Night Auditor for the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift. The Night Auditor will be responsible for performing end-of-day accounting tasks, including reconciling financial transactions and verifying guest room status, while also providing front desk services to late-night guests during the overnight shift. Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintaining security of the hotel premises throughout the night
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist late-night arriving guests with check-in procedures.
- Balance daily financial activities.
- Generate necessary reports based on requirements established by the finance department.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Monitor room availability and update room status in the property management system.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and security, to ensure smooth operations during the night
- Provide exceptional guest service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus during overnight shift
- Monitor entrance and exit points to maintain security
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- Previous experience within the Front Office of a luxury resort is preferred, passionately providing service to others.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in using property management systems and computer applications
- This is a demanding business, and evenings/weekends/holidays are a must, but every effort will be made to ensure time off requests are met.
- Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through legible and grammatically correct writing in a clear and concise, professional manner.
