Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Springfield, MA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a contract position through the end of the current school year. This opportunity offers the chance to support a diverse student population ranging from pre-kindergarten through special programs (PK-SP) with an estimated caseload of 50 students, not all requiring direct services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and support to students across three school sites
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Manage caseload and schedule within assigned hours of 7:36 a.m. to 1:51 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with children ages pre-K through special programs
- Ability to handle a varied caseload across multiple sites effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
