Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Hyannis, MA. The role requires delivering specialized support to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on pediatric speech and language development. This position operates on a school year schedule, with an expected commitment of 30-35 hours per week across five days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized speech therapy plans for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
  • Track progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Massachusetts is required.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy within school settings, including expertise in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), is preferred.
  • Proficiency in specialized speech-language services for school-aged children and knowledge of educational policies related to speech services.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills essential for working within multidisciplinary teams.
