Folia’s POU Water Filters are on-sale at 2,500 grocers in Bangladesh. Folia’s paper microwave susceptors provide superior microwave foods and sustainability. Overview:
The person in this role is responsible for projects involving synthesis/prototyping, engineering, materials analysis and running a broad range of experiments involving both basic chemistry and food testing. Will work with both the materials team and the sales department to work towards high quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out food testing and materials experiments
- Collate and analyze performance data
- Organize and maintain sample inventory
- Perform quality control testing and materials analysis
- Aid in prototyping and production of new form factors
- Testing and tracking performance of samples
What we look for:
- Ability to perform tasks with consistent rigor and attention to detail
- Experience with physical experiments and data analysis
- General engineering capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing observations
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize requests and effectively manage multiple daily tasks
- Adaptability- ability to rapidly master new technical skills and identify roadblocks
- Experience with LabVIEW is a nice to have
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
- Recent high school/college graduates
- Experience in cellulosic materials, food science, pulp, paper, or packaging is helpful.
- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred
