Job Description:

The BCBA reports directly to the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and Lead BCBA. The BCBA position supports our programs and students in Andover, MA location and also you will have the opportunity to collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers, clinicians, nurses, etc., daily as these services are also provided in-house.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Complete FBAs / behavior observations as needed

  • Develop individualized behavior plans

  • Contribute to IEP development and write quarterly progress updates

  • Maintain a caseload of consult-only IEP grid hours

  • Competently understand and demonstrate Safety Care procedures (training provided on site)

  • Support in de-escalation and behavior management as needed. Model and demonstrate strategies using a hands-on approach with students.

  • Appropriately support and create plans based on the student's age, individual needs or disabilities, social skills, and developmental level

  • Manage data collection: Designing individualized data collection/data sheets, overseeing the data collection methods, and ongoing analysis of data, as well as providing training to staff on data collection methods

  • Conduct staff training and lead professional development as necessary

  • Provide ongoing supervision to registered behavior technicians (RBTs)

  • Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, PTs, teachers, clinicians, support staff, RBTs, leadership, etc.

  • Collaborate with the direct services team (teacher, support staff, RBT, etc.) to implement behavior plans or specific behavior support strategies to increase skill acquisition of targeted academic areas and oversee implementation of the behavior strategies

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, such as Psychology or Special Education

  • Experience working with students whose profiles require therapeutic support and approaches. These students also need the most support in the areas of social, emotional, and behavioral.

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Candidates who are eligible to test within the school year may be considered for this position;

  • Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst License (BCBA)

  • Evidence of completion of 8-hour supervision requirements is preferred, but not required

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

  • Leadership experience preferred.

  • New Graduates are also accepted.
