Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Brockton, MA, this full-time contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology services within K-12 schools. The role is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), with a caseload spanning all grade levels. Spanish and Portuguese bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least 3 years of experience working in school settings.
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and CFYs.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly valued.
