We are looking for a visionary Director of Clinical Operations to lead and elevate our clinical teams across home health and hospice.
The Director of Clinical Operations will provide strategic leadership and oversight to all clinical programs and operations within our Home Health and Hospice programs. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high-quality standards of care, supporting staff development, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical leader with a passion for patient-centered care and a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations within home health and hospice.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assurance initiatives, and performance improvement plans.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic goals and manage clinical budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and support clinical managers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and drive initiatives to enhance patient care, satisfaction, and safety.
- Serve as the primary liaison with physicians, referral sources, and community partners to foster growth and excellence in care delivery.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and continuing education programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in nursing preferred, or willing to complete within 36 months. Other professional clinical degree with substantial experience may be considered. Other Masters preparation may be considered (MBA, MPH, MHA) .
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire.
- Certification in Home Health or Case Management preferred.
- Maintain (CPR) certification.
- Valid drivers’ license. Have access to an automobile during working hours that meets the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and auto liability insurance.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in home health or a related field.
- Proven success managing multiple service lines.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of home care clinical practices and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and data analysis for quality improvement.
