Job Description
Lexington Christian Academy is currently accepting applications for the position of Varsity Softball Head Coach for the Spring 2026 season. LCA seeks coaches who are enthusiastic, responsible individuals with a desire to teach athletic and team skills to high school student athletes in the context of the LCA mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The coach will:
- Align program values and culture with LCA core values and mission
- Serve as an athletic and spiritual mentor to LCA student athletes
- Assist AD in developing program strategy and cohesion techniques
- Provide sport specific skills instruction to student-athletes
- Develop and implement game strategies
- Coordinate and facilitate athlete strength and conditioning
- Coordinate team practices each weekday in-season (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
- Manage and facilitate practices and games
SCHEDULE AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This role is seasonal, 14 hours per week.
