Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a valid MA license and at least 2 years of ER experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Emergency Department of a community acute care hospital
- Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5
- Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating within or outside department
- Cerner used for charting (experience preferred)
- Finalized requests for time off must be submitted in advance; no changes allowed after signing
- Scrubs of any color are permitted, except jean material is not allowed
- Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces or in the lot across the street
- Orientation includes additional details on parking and hospital procedures
- Locals are accepted but are subject to local pay rates if residing within 50 miles of the facility
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
- Experience with 1:4-5 patient ratios required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered with 2-3 years of experience and Epic or Cerner EMR experience
