This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 school setting in North Adams, MA. The role involves delivering speech and language services to a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Complete compensatory services as required, with flexibility for part-time hours outside the standard school day if needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school settings, particularly K-12
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy approaches accordingly
- Willingness to work full-time or part-time hours to accommodate service completion needs
