Join one of the nation’s top CNC service teams. We’re hiring a Field Service Engineer to support a key aerospace customer in Connecticut. You’ll be home-based anywhere in the Springfield, MA to Hartford, CT corridor — with paid travel, per diem, and a fully-equipped company truck. You'll troubleshoot, install, and repair advanced CNC machine tools — including 5-axis mills and lathes — at customer sites. You’ll be fully equipped with a company truck, AMEX, per diem, tools, and tech gear to succeed in the field. Interviews include an on-site visit and lunch with the team.
Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (5-axis mills, lathes, and turning centers) using Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak controls in customer manufacturing environments.

Install, calibrate, and align CNC machine tools at client sites, ensuring full mechanical and electrical setup is completed to OEM and customer specifications.

Provide on-site technical support for CNC system diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and emergency service to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.

Document all service activity including repair details, parts used, machine condition reports, and customer feedback using company software and service logs.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality CNC field service, maintain customer satisfaction, and uphold service standards.
Ideal Background:

3+ years of CNC field service or machine repair

Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak controls

Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical)

Comfort traveling 90% (mostly driving, occasional flying)

Clear communication and documentation skills
