Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to cover a leave of absence. This contract position is primarily based at an elementary school serving students from Kindergarten through 4th grade in Springfield, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in various settings including small groups, one-on-one, and inclusion classrooms.
  • Conduct evaluations for IEP eligibility, assist with writing IEPs and goals.
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly.
  • Complete make-up services as needed, extending beyond the original contract end date due to service gaps.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current SLP certification with CCC credentials.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to complete district onboarding and meet all necessary requirements.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start through approximately February 13, 2026, with possible extension for make-up service completion.
  • Work hours: Approximately 17 hours per week.
  • Location: Elementary school in Springfield, MA.
