Overview
Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source for commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors & hardware, drywall & steel framing, insulation and exterior systems.
We are seeking a problem-solving IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting a wide range of IT Support responsibilities including equipment configuration, hardware/software issues, O365 user database, managing technical documentation, among other things. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a thorough understanding of IT best practices and a commitment to delivering excellent service to employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to employees as a first point of contact
- Configure and deploy computer equipment to employees (Laptops, desktops, handheld scanners, label printers)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
- Creating users, email and O365 groups
- Creating/updating technical documentation
- Maintain an up-to-date status for all assigned tickets
- Maintain inventory and asset status'
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the Information Technology field minimum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Microsoft365 (Outlook, Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, InTune)
- Windows 10/11
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects (computers, peripherals)

- PowerBI
Education
- Associate's degree in computer science or related field (additional education a plus)
