What You Will Do:
- Identify and resolve mechanical discrepancies on site
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair complex packaging machinery
- Engage in pump systems diagnostics and corrections
- Implement solutions based on pneumatic and hydraulic principles
- Analyze electrical schematics and work safely with various voltage circuits
- Tackle motor control challenges and electric circuit repairs
- Weld and solder as required, support facility systems like steam and compressed air
- Handle basic carpentry and plumbing tasks
- Procure necessary parts using manuals and technical prints
- Achieve a 60% or higher on the Standard Timing Model test
**Qualifications:**
We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED, or a combination of education and 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
For those in Massachusetts, it's necessary to secure a Special to Operate Engineering License (Steam Plant) within 6 months.
