RN – PCU/Stepdown (3N Nights)
Location: St. Joseph Hospital – Nashua, NH
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 10/20/2025
Shift: Nights, 4×12s (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), every other weekend & holidays required
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Pay Rate: $65.00/hour (Local $57.00/hr)
EMR: Epic
Job Summary
St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – PCU/Stepdown to join the 3N Nights unit. The RN is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. Duties include comprehensive patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements

Active New Hampshire RN license (or compact state license)

Minimum 3 years of recent PCU/Stepdown nursing with telemetry experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS recommended)

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Must wear navy blue scrubs
Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients on admission and throughout their stay

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Document and maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR

Provide patient and family education

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
