We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Operations Specialist to join our growing IT department. This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations, with a focus on helpdesk coordination, process improvement, and internal project advancement.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who thrives in both support and strategic environments. You will take ownership of our helpdesk workflow and contribute to evolving our Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID environments. You’ll also help define and document internal IT standards, guides, and policies that shape how our department operates.


Key Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk Operations
  • Monitor and coordinate the intake, assignment, and resolution of IT support tickets
  • Resolve and collaborate with other department members on level 2 and level 3 support tickets
  • Remediate in-office and hands-on issues within a professional environment
  • Technical Ownership
  • Assist in configuration and management of Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID environments
  • Participate in development and enforcement of endpoint and identity policies
  • Provide hands-on support for device setup, user onboarding, and system troubleshooting
  • Documentation & Standards
  • Create and maintain internal IT documentation and documentation for our IT knowledge base aimed at the entire organization
  • Contribute to the standardization of IT workflows, procedures, and compliance protocols
  • Apply change management strategies for internal IT projects
  • Project Support
  • Support the IT Director in technical projects and new initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members on cross-functional technology improvements


    Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems specialist role
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and the Azure environment
  • Firm foundation with networking concepts and maintaining networking equipment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills (technical writing experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive results
  • Comfortable collaborating in and taking a team lead role within a team environment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


    Preferred

  • Experience writing IT policies, SOPs, or internal training content
  • Experience working within a Microsoft Azure cloud-only tenant
  • Industry certifications (Microsoft Azure, CompTIA , etc.)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Power Automate flow configuration and execution
  • Former leadership roles or experience
