Job Details:

• Work in an adaptive acuity unit with 1:5 nurse to patient ratio on 25-bed unit
\n• Occasionally provide PCU care at 3:1 ratio - this is non-negotiable and may not be refused
\n• Charge nurse responsibilities required for this position
\n• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required
\n• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
\n• No billable orientation hours
\n• Overtime worked at regular rate with no multiplier
\n• 2+ years of current med surg/tele experience required
\n• Charge experience required
\n• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required
\n• Drip experience required
\n• ICU experience strongly preferred
\n• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required
\n• Small critical access facility experience preferred
\n• Must have own vehicle
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
\n• Vermont RN license or compact required
\n• Skills checklists required for PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry (current within 1 year)
\n• One supervisory signed reference from past two years required
