This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and achieving proper required operator authorization
- Working with engineering documents including drawings to determine the correct method and equipment need to perform inspection
- Interpreting customer and internal engineering drawings, company specifications and quality requirements to determine if material, components and product are in compliance
- Develop special precision inspection setup operations to accurately and precisely verify requirements
- Interpreting ANSI 14.5 geometric dimension and tolerance requirements to determine measure and verify compliance
- Working with the engineering department to develop techniques and procedures to accurately and precisely verify compliance for new components
- Perform first piece, first article inspection for all levels of components and products in accordance with AS9102
- Helping in the determination of root cause to support improvement of processes and product
- Using test and inspection instruments and equipment such as: micrometers, indicators, pressure gauge, hand tools, optical comparators, verniers and weights
- Operating and analysis dimensional requirements using a CMM
Requirements:
- Previous experience required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience with micrometers, indicators, pressure gauge, hand tools, optical comparators, verniers and weights
- Able to read and understand blueprints
Hours are:
Monday through Friday –6am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $28.00 an hour based on experience
