Job SummaryAs a Telecommunications Network Engineer, you will support daily operations and maintenance of enterprise-level Cisco contact center technology. This role requires hands-on expertise in Cisco Unified Communications platforms, voice systems, and gateways. You will also have opportunities to lead upgrades, IVR scripting, and troubleshooting while ensuring reliability and performance of all communication systems.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Cisco PCCE, CUCM, CVP, Unity voicemail, and Expressway Gateways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across voice, contact center, and unified communications systems.
- Configure and maintain IVR applications and VXML scripts.
- Support system upgrades and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain uptime and system reliability.
- Provide documentation, administration, and reporting for telecom infrastructure.
Required Experience
- Strong background in Cisco contact center and voice systems.
- Proven experience with PCCE administration (scripting, IVR, troubleshooting).
- 3+ years of advanced CUCM administration.
- Hands-on experience with VXML applications, Unity voicemail, and Expressway gateways.
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex telecom issues.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with NICE Engage call recording.
- Familiarity with Lumen CCS, Telecommunication Premier Care Portal, and ServiceNow.
