Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available at an elementary school in Dorchester, MA, offering contract opportunities for the current school year. These roles focus on supporting Pre-K through elementary students with speech and language needs, requiring professionals with strong expertise in school-based caseloads and a solid understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Position 1: This contract runs through January with a strong possibility for extension through the full school year. The caseload spans Pre-K to elementary students, demanding significant experience managing IEPs and delivering tailored speech therapy services.

Position 2: This role starts ASAP and continues through the end of December. Responsibilities include providing therapy to Pre-K through elementary students, managing caseloads efficiently, and collaborating with educational teams to support student communication needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid SLP school certification
  • Proven experience working with Pre-K and elementary-aged students
  • Strong familiarity and hands-on experience with IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt therapy to diverse student needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within an educational setting

Location: Dorchester, MA elementary school environment

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, maintaining detailed documentation, and contributing to multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student outcomes.
