This contract opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, specializing in ambulatory, endoscopy, and PACU care. The role is located in Windsor, Vermont, and offers a chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting supporting patients during their recovery post-procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia recovery phase in an ambulatory care environment
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage pain and symptoms post-procedure
- Collaborate with surgical and endoscopy teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge instructions
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license with PACU experience
- Strong understanding of ambulatory and endoscopy nursing practices
- Ability to assess and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
This position is offered on a contract basis, with no billed orientation time required. Holiday work includes a multiplier of 1.25, and overtime is compensated at the regular rate. Note that local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
