Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Physical Therapist position is available to support students from Kindergarten through 8th grade in a dynamic K-8 school environment located in Lawrence, MA. This contract role runs from August 11, 2025, through June 17, 2026, offering approximately 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule tailored to fit between 8 AM and 3 PM on selected days. This onsite role requires travel to various campuses within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to K-8 students in an educational setting
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and participate in team meetings
  • Adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs in accordance with state guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks
  • Experience with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to multiple school sites within Lawrence, MA
