At NETTTS (New England Tractor Trailer Training School), we’re seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet vehicles and support training operations at our North Andover, MA campus. What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks (oil changes, brake work, tire service)

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and A/C systems

• Conduct mechanical inspections and ensure compliance with DOT safety standards

• Track service records, communicate with vendors, and order parts as needed

• Assist with general facility maintenance and seasonal snow removal

• Work independently while supporting instructors and student operations

What You’ll Need:

• Certification in Diesel Mechanics from a trade school or training program

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on diesel maintenance experience

• Familiarity with DOT safety standards and maintenance documentation

• Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and follow a structured schedule

• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs and work in/around commercial vehicles

• Must pass and maintain a valid DOT physical and drug screen

Bonus if You Have:

• ASE Certification

• Valid Class A CDL

• Experience working with commercial fleets or in a training environment
