Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000+ DOECOMPANY OVERVIEWAn aerospace manufacturing company in Westfield, MA, specializing in precision machining.POSITION OVERVIEWLighthouse Professional Services, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer.SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in precision machining and low-production aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, quality assurance, and hands-on problem-solving within an ISO 9000-certified environment.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing process planning and inspection reports for all orders.
  • Organize all paperwork, including certifications, process control sheets, inspection reports, and job closeouts.
  • Collaborate daily with Production Control to ensure all tooling and process documentation are accurate for operators.
  • Develop and implement gage calibration and inspection report systems.
  • Troubleshoot various manufacturing processes and address non-conforming materials.
  • Design and implement gauging methods as part of an inspection report system.
  • Lead major projects aimed at improving key performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
  • Perform periodic engineering CAD work using SolidWorks.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Education: Engineering degree preferred; will consider candidates with 15+ years of solid machining experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in precision machining and welded fabrications.
    • Proven experience working in an ISO 9000-certified environment.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software.
    • Hands-on experience with gage calibration, troubleshooting processes, and inspection systems.
    • Strong computer skills; knowledge of E2 Shop Floor Control is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to lead projects and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of quality assurance and process improvement methods.
    • Willingness to do what is necessary to satisfy the customer's needs.
