VocoVision is looking for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a remote, 1099 contractor. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students lives through high-quality therapy.

As a remote SLP, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students across Massachusetts. Working as an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for delivering personalized therapy to students with varying speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver remote therapy sessions to students with diverse speech and language challenges.

  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify students' needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and any updates, in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.

  • Regularly review and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.

  • Adhere to ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in speech therapy to provide the best care.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching Certificate.

  • Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy, particularly in educational settings, is preferred.

  • Technology: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and digital tools. Must have reliable internet access and a quiet, professional workspace.

  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Passion: A genuine desire to help students develop their speech and language skills.
