Registered Nurse in Operating Room (RN OR) position at Nantucket Cottage Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham system.
Role involves 5 shifts of 8 hours each, with variable start times including call on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Call coverage after 4pm-6:30 or 7am during the week, and 24-hour coverage on holidays and weekends, averaging one weekend every three weeks.

Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional licenses accepted).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
Completion of MGB FEMA ICS 100 Training mandatory.
Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually.
Color vision test within 365 days of start date.
Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required.
Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed.
TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months.
Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
Resume including past 7 years of work experience required for submission.
MGB Skills Checklist required for submission.
Two recent references required, minimum one supervisor or above in skillset.
Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
Education verification through background check company.
Social Security Number trace with criminal check.
National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start, updated annually.
Exclusion checks within 30 days of start, updated annually.

5 shifts per week, each 8 hours long.
Variable start times including call shifts on nights, weekends, and holidays.
Call coverage after 4pm-6:30 or 7am during weekdays depending on role/team.
24-hour call coverage on holidays and weekends, averaging one weekend every three weeks.

Shared housing provided at no cost for travelers.
MGB Nantucket Housing Agreement required upon hire if staying in hospital housing.
