Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, providing services within a K-12 educational setting in Exeter, NH. This role is designed for a professional specializing in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy, with an assignment split between a high school Life Skills classroom (4 days per week) and an elementary school (1 day per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with varied communication needs, focusing on both life skills and elementary age groups
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Conduct ongoing assessments and documentation of student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting aligned with students academic and social development
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school and healthcare settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or eligibility preferred
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology services in educational environments (SLP - School)
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), starting ASAP through the end of the school year
- Location: Exeter, New Hampshire
- Full-time schedule: 4 days per week at high school Life Skills classroom, 1 day per week at elementary school
