Position Overview\n
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team on the night shift in the Mother/Baby unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and infants in the Mother/Baby unit.
- Float to different units as needed; travelers may be scheduled for additional weekend shifts based on unit needs.
- Work a minimum of 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
- Ensure all patient care documentation is completed timely and accurately.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding postpartum and infant care.

\n\nQualifications\n
- \n
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certification required; AHA ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience, preferably with antepartum experience.
- Experience working in a large (500+ bed) facility or a teaching hospital.
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years is mandatory.
- Must be willing to take on charge responsibilities as needed.

\n\nAdditional Information\n
This position requires reliable transportation as public transport is not accessible in the area. Candidates are advised to have a personal or rental vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
\n
Contract duration is 28 weeks with guaranteed hours. Please note that all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and all work history information, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, must be included for submission.
