Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Behavior Specialist opportunity is ideal for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) seeking a contract position within a K-12 school setting in Somerville, MA. The role spans approximately three months, from the end of August through November, aligning with the academic calendar. The typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee behavior intervention plans for students across grades K-12.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized behavior strategies.
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure effective delivery of interventions.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection to measure student progress.
  • Communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide updates and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field.
  • Current, active BCBA licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising RBTs is highly preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
