Are you seeking a summer job that is both enjoyable and fulfilling? Do you enjoy spending your summer on or in the water? Do you have prior lifeguard experience? Can you bring excitement and energy? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Dedham Community House Pool is hiring for the 2026 season.
Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old by June 2026 and either have a valid lifeguard certification or a strong aquatics background (swim team, dive team, etc)
Details:
<ul>
<li>Pool season runs from June 6 - August 30</li>
<li>Full-time and part-time hours available</li>
<li>Summer Camp and member hours available</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Participating in the guard rotation</li>
<li>Walk through the facilities during your shift to help keep them clean</li>
<li>Handling basic issues with patrons and campers</li>
<li>Communicating any issues that arise to the Aquatics Director</li>
<li>Lifeguard Certification valid through August 2026</li>
</ul>
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
